School of Coastal Resilience
The research and teaching interests of the School of Coastal Resilience focuses on matters impacting human well-being and ecosystem vitality in coastal regions. More than 3.4 billion people, close to 44% of the world’s population, live within one hundred miles of a coast. Every facet of their lives, be it economic, political, social, cultural, and beyond, is impacted by coastal climates, weather events, environments, and ecologies.
